I also think that dressing appropriately for the job is very important. Who you are in what you wear. Business attire doesn’t hurt to wear…this entails professionalism and credibility. Of course, the personality and working attitude are still the foremost weapon in working.

I agree with van26_t…people in your working place are so busy to give attention to you. Not to be so mean about it, but yeah, you should work on your own and should not be dependent with the people around you. Think smart and be snappy.

I think students should savor their holidays for relaxation and vacation. This only happens once a year and these kids really deserve a break from the pressure in school, and working during the holidays is really not a good idea.

Temping jobs are just for those who do not have plans to stick for so long in a job…I think this is happening among tourists who get into a sideline job in UK…temping jobs suit them.

Recruitment agencies really help a lot. This will give you direction in looking for temping jobs. Also, with this, there are less hassles. They already know what kind of job you fit in; hence, when you are already in your working place and position, you won’t feel so surprised at all.

I agree with peter…If you don’t feel nervous at all, then maybe you are really not feeling the “supposed feeling for a first day in the job.” hehehe. Everybody feels nervous, and that’s normal. If you feel otherwise, then that’s not normal…lol!
